IIMC admissions 2024 begins, here's how to register via CUET

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has started the online application process for admissions to diverse courses in journalism, advertising, and public relations for the academic session 2024-25. Prospective candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can access detailed information on the institute's official website. The deadline for application submission is January 24, 2024. To commence the application process, candidates must register on http://cuet.nta.nic.in.

IIMC Admissions 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Individuals possessing a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply. Those in their final year/semester of the Bachelor's program can also apply but are required to furnish their provisional mark sheet/certificate from the college/university by September 30, 2024. The Diploma degree will only be conferred upon students upon submission of the Original Degree Certificate at the course's completion.

Admissions are available for various courses, including PG Diploma in Journalism (English), PG Diploma in Journalism (Hindi), PG Diploma in Radio and TV Journalism (Bilingual-English and Hindi), and PG Diploma in Digital Media.

The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 25 years. For OBC candidates, the maximum age is 28 years as of August 2024. SC/ST/PwD candidates can apply up to a maximum age of 30 years.

Furthermore, in the CUET (PG) information booklet, IIMC's courses fall under the 'Common' category with the question paper code COQP17. However, the entrance examination for language-based courses like PG Diploma Courses in Journalism (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam, and Urdu) will be conducted separately. Step 4: Document Upload

• Upload scanned copies of required documents, including academic certificates, ID proof, photograph, and signature, adhering to the specified format and size.

Step 5: Fee Payment

• Pay the application fee through the designated payment gateway using available online modes such as credit/debit cards, net banking, or other payment options.

Step 6: Review and Submit

• Review the filled-in application form to ensure all details are accurate.
• Click on the submit button to complete the application process.

Step 7: Print Application Form

• After successful submission, download or take a printout of the completed application form for future reference.
