LPU Shatters Records: Highest Package Reaches Rs 3 Crore in Campus Placements

Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University (LPU) continues to break boundaries in the field of student placements, achieving unprecedented success for the 2022-23 batch. Over 1,100 students secured lucrative job offers, with packages ranging from Rs 10 lakh to an impressive Rs 64 lakh. The top 10 percent of LPU students received an average package of Rs 12.3 lakh, surpassing the average of many top IITs and solidifying LPU’s reputation as a leader in talent development.

Remarkable achievements from previous batches highlight LPU's success story. Yasir M, a 2018 batch student, secured a record-breaking package of Rs 3 crore in an IT company. Pawan Kunchala followed closely, receiving a package of Rs 1 crore from IT company TC Central.

For the current 2023-24 batch, BTech Computer Science and Engineering students Yashasvi Yaduvanshi and Harsh Vardhan recently secured a notable package of Rs 52.08 lakh at Microsoft. Additionally, a Mechanical Engineering student from the 2022-23 batch received the highest CTC of Rs 54.9 lakh. Architecture and MBA students also achieved impressive packages of Rs 31.69 lakh and Rs 29.3 lakh, respectively.

LPU graduates have consistently secured prestigious positions with over Rs 1 crore packages at renowned companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Amazon. The university has facilitated over 5,500 placement offers from industry giants including Amazon, TCS, Bosch, Trident, Federal Bank, Bank of America, Flipkart, Cipla, LG Electronics, Qatar Highways, P&O Cruises, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and IndiGo. These opportunities span various fields, from Engineering and Management to Hotel and Tourism, Medical, Agriculture, and Social Sciences.

The participation of more than 350 companies that also recruit from IITs, NITs, and IIMs underscores LPU's commitment to producing industry-ready graduates. The involvement of multinational companies in campus recruitment reflects LPU's dedication to adapting its educational programs to meet industry demands.

LPU Chancellor and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, emphasized the university's commitment to fostering intellectual and interpersonal growth among its students.
