TNEA Seat Allotment Result 2024: The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions will release the TNEA 2024 seat allotment results for round 2. Candidates who registered for the counselling can access their TNEA seat allotment order through the official website, tneaonline.org. 

How to check TNEA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result?

Step 1. Visit the TNEA website: https://www.tneaonline.org/
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads "TNEA Counselling 2024 Seat Allotment Result For Round 2".
Step 3. Key in your login credentials.
Step 4. Your TNEA seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5. Download and save the allotment letter for reference.
Step 6. Print a copy if required.

“Those who had opted "I accept the current allotment and opt for the upward movement. If allotted in upward movement, I confirm." , we request you to login and download the tentative allotment order and visit the TFC that you had selected during tentative confirmation with all the required certificates on or before 20-08-2024, all other students who confirmed the tentative allotment request you to wait until 23-08-2024,” the official notice said.

Candidates will then have to report to the allotted college by August 20 and submit the required documents for admissions. The final seat allotment result will be declared by August 23.

TNEA Counselling 2024

This year, 441 engineering colleges are participating in single window TNEA counselling. A total of 1,99,868 candidates are eligible to register for counselling.  The All India Council for Technical Education has sanctioned an intake of 2,32,376 seats for this year. Branches related to computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and machine learning, have seen a steep increase in seats whereas in core technology branches such as mechanical, civil and mechatronics, 2,965 seats have been cut down. A total of 390 seats have been reduced in architecture programme as well.
