TS EDCET 2024 Counselling Schedule Out, Registrations From Aug 8; Key Dates, List of Documents Here

New Delhi: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) 2024 counselling schedule. As per the schedule, the TS EDCET counselling registration will begin on August 8. Candidates who have passed the EDCET 2024 will be able to register for the counselling by visiting the official website, edcet.tsche.ac.in. The last date to register is August 20. 

The registered candidates will have complete physical verification of Special category certificates (NCC, CAP , PH , Sports) by slot booking from August 12 to 16. The list of verified candidates will be published on August 21. The first seat allotment results will be out on August 30. 

Candidates must note that the web option entry for TS EDCET 2024 counselling phase 1 is scheduled from August 22 to 23. Candidates will be able to edit their web options on August 24. Reporting at the allotted colleges for verification of original certificates along with tuition fee payment receipt  will be done between August 31 and September 4. The classes will commence on August 31.

• Online Registration cum verification, online payment along with uploading scanned copies of certificates for verification (as per guidelines) - 08.08.2024 to 20.08.2024 
• Physical verification of Special category certificates (NCC / CAP / PH / Sports) by slot booking (Refer to Point No. c) 12.08.2024 to 16.08.2024 
• Display the List of verified candidates 21.08.2024 
• Exercising Web options for Phase I 22.08.2024 to 23.08.2024 
• Edit of web options for Phase -I 24.08.2024 
• List of Provisionally selected candidates will be prepared colleges wise and will be placed in the website (Phase-I) 30.08.2024
• Reporting at concerned colleges for verification of Original Certificates along with Tuition Fee payment receipt. 31.08.2024 to 04.09.2024
• Commencement of Class work 31.08.2024

TS EDCET 2024 Counselling: Documents required

1. TG Ed.CET-2024 Rank Card
2. Original Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidated Memorandum Marks (CMM) qualifying examination
3. Intermediate/Diploma / 10+2 Certificate or its equivalent
4. SSC pass certificate or its Equivalent for proof of Date of Birth
5. Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation
6. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Distance / Open education mode)
7. Residence certificate of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state. This certificate should be obtained from the Tahsildar
8. Residence certificate from M.R.O either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates
9. Transfer Certificate
10. Latest Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates (issued after 02.06.2014), if applicable
11. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation (applicable only to OC candidates): As per the Guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.244, General Administration (SER.D) Department, Government of Telangana, dated. 24.08.2021, the 10% Reservation to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in respect of Admissions into Educational Institutions shall be implemented. Candidates should produce EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar valid for the year 2024-25, if applicable
12. Special category certificates NCC / CAP / PH / SPORTS
13. Latest Parental Income certificate issued by M.R.O. by Govt. of Telangana on or after 01.01.2024, if applicable
14. The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should upload the SSC “TC” containing Minority status (or) in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent examination
15. Aadhar Card or any other valid I.D. proof
