WBJEE 2024 Counselling Registration Closing Tomorrow, Here's How To Register; Direct Link Inside

New Delhi: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEEB) will close the WBJEE counselling registration window tomorrow, July 16. The link to register was activated on July 10. Candidates who have qualified the WBJEE 2024 will be able to register and fill choices of preference of college and courses online. A step-by-step guide and direct link have been provided below for the convenience of candidates. 

How to register for WBJEE Counselling 2024

• Visit the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee
• Click on the link that reads- Online Registration & Choice Filling for WBJEE Counselling 2024
• Register yourself by providing the required details
• Log in using the credentials
• Choose your preferred colleges and courses
• Pay the fees and submit. 

WBJEE Counselling Registration

Registered candidates will be allotted colleges based on their preferences, WBJEE ranks, and availability of seats. The seat matrix can be accessed on the official website- wbjee.nic.in. WBJEE seat allotment result will be out on July 19. The candidate must pay a refundable (conditional) seat acceptance fee /caution money of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) through online transactions (Net banking, Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI) and download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in the Upgradation Round (i.e., EXIT).

Important Points To Note

• There will be one combined counselling for both WBJEE-2024 and JEE(Main)-2024 rank holders.
• There will be three rounds of counselling: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up.
• Candidates are allowed to register at the beginning of Round I and the Mop-Up round. Registration for counselling is required to secure a seat. Except for those attending the Mop-up round, unregistered candidates will not be considered for allocation of seats in any round.
• The following groups of candidates who have already successfully registered in Round 1 will be considered in Round 2, namely: 

1. Those who did not get any allotment in Round 1, 2. 
2. Those who paid the seat acceptance fee, completed document verification, and opted for YES-upgradation in Round 1. 
3. Those who paid the seat acceptance fee, completed document verification but allotment in Round 1 was cancelled, due to various reasons other than academic eligibility

• Candidates may modify and lock their choices - By July 16, 2024
• 1st round of seat allotment result- July 19, 2024
• Payment of seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission- July 19, 2024 to July 24, 2024
• 2nd round of seat allotment result- July 26, 2024
• Payment of seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission (fresh allottees) -July 26, 2024 to July 29, 2024
• Registration for Mop-Up round, payment of registration fees, and choice filling- July 31, 2024 to August 1, 2024
• Candidates may modify and lock their choices- By August 1, 2024
• Mop-Up round seat allotment result - August 3, 2024
• Payment of seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission (fresh allottees) - August 3, 2024 to August 5, 2024
