WBJEE Counselling 2024 Registration Begins, Check Direct Link, Process, Schedule Here

Kolkata: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEEB) will begin the WBJEE counselling process today, July 10. Candidates who have qualified the WBJEE 2024 will be able to register and fill choices of preference of college and courses online. The counselling registration link can be accessed from below. The last date to register for WBJEE counselling is July 16. 

WBJEE Counselling Registration

Registered candidates will be allotted colleges based on their preferences, WBJEE ranks, and availability of seats. The seat matrix can be accessed on the official website- wbjee.nic.in. WBJEE seat allotment result will be out on July 19. The candidate must pay a refundable (conditional) seat acceptance fee /caution money of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) through online transactions (Net banking, Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI) and download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in the Upgradation Round (i.e., EXIT).

Important Points To Note

• There will be one combined counselling for both WBJEE-2024 and JEE(Main)-2024 rank holders.
• There will be three rounds of counselling: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up.
• Candidates are allowed to register at the beginning of Round I and the Mop-Up round. Registration for counselling is required to secure a seat. Except for those attending the Mop-up round, unregistered candidates will not be considered for allocation of seats in any round.
• The following groups of candidates who have already successfully registered in Round 1 will be considered in Round 2, namely: 

1. Those who did not get any allotment in Round 1, 2. 
2. Those who paid the seat acceptance fee, completed document verification, and opted for YES-upgradation in Round 1. 
3. Those who paid the seat acceptance fee, completed document verification but allotment in Round 1 was cancelled, due to various reasons other than academic eligibility

Payment of seat acceptance fee and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission (fresh allottees) -July 26, 2024 to July 29, 2024

Registration for Mop-Up round, payment of registration fees, and choice filling- July 31, 2024 to August 1, 2024

Candidates may modify and lock their choices- By August 1, 2024

Mop-Up round seat allotment result - August 3, 2024
