TNPSC Group 2 Civil Services Exam Registration Begins; Here's How To Apply

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has opened the registration process for the Group 2 Combined Civil Services Examination 2024. Eligible candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website at tnpsc.gov.in.

According to the official schedule, the TNPSC Group 2 prelims exam will take place on September 14, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The deadline for submitting the application form is July 19.

The commission will provide an application correction window from July 24 to July 26, 2024. During this period, candidates can make necessary changes to their submitted applications. This recruitment drive aims to fill 2,327 vacancies for positions such as assistant inspector, deputy commercial tax officer, special assistant, assistant section officer, and audit inspector.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100 to register for the TNPSC Group 2 preliminary examination. Those who do not claim a fee exemption and are shortlisted for the main examination, based on their prelims results, will need to pay an additional fee of Rs 150.

1. Visit the official TNPSC website at tnpsc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the TNPSC Group 2 registration link.
3. Complete the one-time registration form with the required details.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
5. Fill out the application form with personal and academic information.
6. Submit the necessary documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
7. Download and print the application form for future reference.
