The formula for calculating normalized scores is as follows:
- SASD: Sum of the Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of the subject in the session the candidate appeared in.
- GASD: Sum of the Average (A) and Standard Deviation (SD) of all candidates across all sessions of the subject.
- STA: Average mark of the top 0.1% of candidates in the subject in the session the candidate appeared in.
- GTA: Average mark of the top 0.1% of all candidates across all sessions of the subject.
This normalization process aims to equalize the raw scores to account for any session-based discrepancies in difficulty, thus providing a fair evaluation for all candidates.
