IIM-Sambalpur launches 2-year MBA program for professionals; check eligibility & course fee here

The Indian Institute of Management, Sambalpur has launched a two-year executive MBA degree program for working professionals. Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university holding 3 years post-qualification professional working experience can apply for the post. The course intends to meet the needs of working executives, who would like to pursue management education without hampering their professional and personal commitments, IIM-S said. 

IIM- Sambalpur Executive MBA program Eligibility 

Candidates who wish to apply for the 2-year executive MBA programme must hold a valid CAT/GATE/GRE/GMAT score ( not more than 3 years old). Those who do not have any of the scores should clear the IIM-SAT that is IIM Sambalpur Aptitude Test. The selection will be based on test scores and personal interviews. The Online application fee is Rs 1000. It will be non-refundable. 

IIM- Sambalpur Executive MBA Program Key Dates

• Online application begins- March 19
• Online application ends- May 31
• IIMSAT Date- June 3
• Tentative dates for a personal interview- June 7 to 12
• Result declaration - June 15
• Classes will commence on July 26.

IIM-SAT Exam Pattern:

There will be 120 questions carrying 120 marks. The questions will be asked from three sections- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours i.e., 120 minutes. IIM Sambalpur Executive MBA Programme Fee

The course fee for IIM Sambalpur Executive MBA Program is Rs 9 lakh. This will include tuition fees, virtual library access, and campus immersion for two years. 

"The program will benefit those having strong entrepreneurial mindset and leverage upon the various government of India initiatives like Make in India and Start-up India," Director Mahadeo Jaiswal said.

The curriculum includes contemporary topics such as fintech, cryptocurrency, e-commerce, digital marketing, and big data analytics.
