Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the recruitment of assistant professors against 1339 vacancies in the Bihar Health Department. The official notice regarding the same has been uploaded on the official website.
“Departmental letter no. 34/2024 to 56/2024 published on 20.06.2024 for appointment for 1339 vacancies of Assistant Professor under 23 departments (specialties) in the medical colleges and hospitals of the state under the Health Department, Bihar. -649 (17), dated 22.07.2024, is postponed with immediate effect,” the official notice reads.
BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment Details
BPSC had invited applications from eligible candidates for the vacancies from June 24 to July 16. BPSC had announced to select candidates based on a comprehensive evaluation of various parameters, including educational qualifications and professional experience. Candidates having a MBBS degree or a postgraduate degree in medicine with relevant experience were eligible for the recruitment.
The selected candidates would get a salary scale ranging from Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100 (Level-11), along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
