The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the tentative dates for the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0) and postponed the Head Teacher in Primary Schools (Written) Competitive Examination and the Head Master in Senior Secondary Schools (Written) Competitive Examination. The adjustments are due to overlapping exam schedules, with detailed notices available on the BPSC website (bpsc.bih.nic.in).
The application process for the post of Guest Teacher under TRE 3.0 has been slated for June 4 to June 10, following a Patna High Court judgement on May 29. The examination is tentatively set for July 19 to 22 and will be conducted in district headquarters. BPSC noted that these dates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
The Head Teacher (Primary Schools) written examination, advertised under number 25/2024, has been rescheduled to June 29. Originally scheduled for June 22, the change accommodates the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECEB) occurring on the same day. BPSC cited practical difficulties in managing two significant exams in one district simultaneously.
Similarly, the Headmaster (Senior Secondary Schools) written exam under advertisement 26/2024 has been rescheduled to June 28 from its previous date of June 23, also due to the BCECEB exam.
The BPSC had to cancel the original TRE 3.0 exam on March 15 amid allegations of a question paper leak, affecting approximately 3.75 lakh aspirants who participated. The commission is taking steps to ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of the rescheduled examinations.
Further detailed information regarding these exams will be published on the BPSC website in due course.
