Bihar Public Service Commission released the cut-off for BPSC teachers recruitment exam (TRE) 2023. The BPSC TRE cut-off marks were released on October 25 at the official website- bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the category-wise cut-off marks for all subjects from classes 1 to 12.
The BPSC TRE cut-off marks have been released for Class 1 -5 for General, Urdu and Bangla subjects. Moreover, the cut-off marks for Class 9-10 for Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, English, Science, Mathematics and Social Science have been uploaded. The class 11-12, the cut-off marks for all subjects have been out.
BPSC has also uploaded the lists of candidates not included in the merit list due to being absent in document verification/ their documents unverified and due to being absent in qualifying language paper/ no qualifying marks in language paper. The lists can be found on the official website.
BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad had on Wednesday informed that the filtering of results is underway and said that if the posts remain vacant due to this filtering, they will be filled through one or more supplementary results. “When we are dealing with such large numbers as in TRE, multi layer filtering is needed to weed out undeserving ones. This is what's going on & that's why all results are conditional. Any vacancy arising out of this filtering will be filled by one or more supplementary result,” he tweeted.

BPSC aims to fill a total of 1,70,461 vacancies for the post of primary and upper primary school teachers in Bihar.
