Indian Army Recruitment: AFMS Medical Officer Notice Out For 450 Vacancies, Selection Via Interview

New Delhi: Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released a short notification for the recruitment against 450 vacancies for the post of short service commissioned medical officer. The online application window for AFMS recruitment will open on July 16. The last date to apply online is August 4. 

Candidates must note that the selection will be done based on the interview only. Eligible candidates can apply online at amcsscentry.gov.in.  The required age limit and eligibility criteria can be found below.

There are a total of 338 vacancies for male candidates and 112 for female candidates.

AFMS Medical Officer Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have a MBBS degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the posts.
• The upper age limit for MBBS degree holder candidates is 30 years. Only those born on or after January 2, 1995 can apply. 
• The upper age limit for master's (medical) degree holders is 35 years. Only those born on or after January 2, 1990 can apply.
• Cut-off date for age limit is December 31, 2024.
