New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the official notification for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examinations 2024 tomorrow, June 27. Earlier, the notification was scheduled to be out on May 7 However, it was postponed. 

As per the revised schedule, the deadline to apply for SSC MTS, Havaldar is July 31. The examination will be held in October-November. 

The SSC conducts the MTS exam to fill essential roles such as peon, gardener, and office attendant, providing opportunities for candidates across the country. The selection procedure consists of two stages: an objective test (Paper-I) and a written test (Paper-II). Candidates must clear Paper-I to proceed to Paper-II. The exam syllabus covers reasoning, numerical skills, English proficiency, and general knowledge.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria include an age limit of 18 to 25 years for most MTS positions. However, for specific roles in the Department of Revenue (CBIC) and some MTS categories, the upper age limit extends to 27 years. Educational requirements mandate passing the Matriculation Examination from a recognized board, ensuring candidates have the necessary qualifications to apply.
