Mehta announced, "We are filing a transfer petition and will request the court to transfer all pending petitions from the high courts to the Supreme Court for a consolidated hearing."

The petitioner's lawyer called for a halt to the counselling process, but Mehta countered, noting that the Supreme Court had already considered this issue and had not imposed a stay on the counselling process.

In his address, Mehta highlighted three primary issues at the heart of the controversy:

1. Grace marks
2. An incorrect question
3. Paper leak

Due to the complexity and significance of these issues, Mehta emphasized the need for a unified hearing in the Supreme Court. Consequently, the Delhi High Court has postponed further hearings on the matter until July 5.

NEET Controversy

The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) controversy has been a major issue, involving allegations of unfair practices and discrepancies in the exam process. Concerns about the fairness of the exam have been raised by students and parents alike.

One of the central issues is the allocation of grace marks. Many students have alleged inconsistencies in the awarding of these marks, which has impacted their final scores and subsequent admissions. Additionally, there have been reports of incorrect questions in the exam paper, leading to further disputes about the accuracy and validity of the exam results.

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of the controversy is the alleged paper leak. Accusations that the exam paper was leaked before the test date have caused significant unrest and have raised serious questions about the integrity of the examination process.

As legal battles continue in various courts, the resolution of these issues remains critical for the future of NEET and the credibility of the examination system. The decision to potentially consolidate all petitions in the Supreme Court could lead to a more comprehensive and unified approach to addressing these concerns.
