Patna gets India's largest 5-storeyed online, offline exam centre- 'Bapu Pariksha Parisar'

The capital of Bihar, Patna has now India's largest examination center with a capacity of around 16 thousand candidates who can take online as well as offline exams, simultaneously. The chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar inaugurated the exam center named 'Bapu Pariskha Parisar' on August 23. The exam center is spread across 5 acres of land with a budget of over Rs 260 crore. The building is five-storeyed and has two towers.

The Bapu Pariskha Parisar is located at Kumhrar, Patna. Candidates of class 10th, and 12th board exams, JEE, NEET, BPSC, UPSC, and other competitive exams can be conducted at the building. Over 13 thousand candidates can appear for offline exams and 3854 candidates can appear for online exams, simultaneously at this building. The building is equipped with motion-sensor lights in all rooms. Computers and other essential devices required for conducting online exams are also set up in the building.
"We had been trying for a long time to set up a large-scale examination centre here so that candidates may appear in large numbers simultaneously. Different exams can be conducted here every day, ” the chief minister said.
The five-storeyed building has solar plates on the rooftop for eco-friendly electricity. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has directed to install of more solar plates on the rooftop. Moreover, there are escalators and lifts on all floors for the convenience of candidates.
