QS Global MBA Rankings 2025: Three IIMs have been ranked among the world's top 50 in the Employability indicator, with a fourth programme securing a spot in the top 100 for this critical indicator. The QS Global MBA Rankings 2025 were released on Wednesday. IIM Bangalore which has been ranked 53 globally has clinched 33rd rank in the employability indicator. This indicator measures the percentage of graduates employed within 24 months of graduation, or who work in their field of study.
IIM Calcutta has been ranked 34th while IIM Ahmedabad is placed at 47th rank in the employability index. Indian School of Business (ISB) is ranked 72nd.
IIM-A Tops in Entrepreneurship & Alumni Impact category
IIM Ahmedabad's full-time MBA programme leads nationally in the Entrepreneurship & Alumni Impact category, with two other Indian programmes also ranking among the global top 100 in this indicator.
IIM Bangalore’ full-time MBA programme achieves the highest return on investment in India, with other two programmes appearing among the world’s top 100.

IIM Bangalore’ full-time MBA programme also leads nationally for the thought leadership of its faculty, with other three programmes appearing among the world’s top 100.
However, none of the fourteen ranked Indian MBA programmes feature in the world’s top 250 for student and faculty diversity, highlighting a significant gender gap in the classroom. This indicator also assesses the percentage of international students and faculty, an area where Indian business schools continue to lag, underscoring the ongoing challenges in internationalisation within Indian business education.
