RSMSSB Junior Instructor Recruitment Exam Postponed Due To "Unavoidable Reasons"

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has postponed the Rajasthan Junior Instructor recruitment examination for 2024 due to unavoidable circumstances. Candidates who have applied can find updates on the official website, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The exam was scheduled to be held on June 27, 29 and 30. 

This recruitment drive by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission aims to fill multiple Junior Instructor positions in various disciplines. There are 134 vacancies for Junior Instructor (Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Technician), 243 vacancies for Junior Instructor (Fitter), and 348 vacancies for Junior Instructor (Electrician).  The application process for the RSMSSB Recruitment 2024 began on March 13 and concluded on April 11.

According to the official notification, "The direct recruitment examinations for Junior Instructor (Refrigeration and Air Conditioner Technician) scheduled for 27.06.2024, Junior Instructor (Fitter) scheduled for 29.06.2024, and Junior Instructor (Electrician) scheduled for 30.06.2024 have been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The revised schedule for these examinations will be announced separately on the Board's website."

In terms of eligibility, applicants must be between 21 years and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025, as stated in the official notice.

This delay follows a trend of postponements seen in various national and state-level exams across India, including NEET PG, CSIR UGC-NET, and Bihar TET. The UGC-NET exam was recently canceled, impacting aspiring candidates nationwide.
