UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024 Schedule Out; Check Subject-Wise Date Sheet Here

UPSC CSE Main Exam Schedule: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the detailed schedule for the civil services main exam 2024. As per the schedule, the UPSC CSE Mains 2024 will be held between September 20 and 29. The exam will be conducted in two shifts- morning session and afternoon session. The morning session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and afternoon session from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024 Schedule

As per the schedule, paper 1 essay will be held on September 20 in morning shift. The paper 2 (GS-1) will be held on September 21 in the morning shift while paper-3 (GS-2) will be held in the second shift. On September 22, Paper 4 and 5 will be held in the morning and afternoon shifts, respectively. 

The exam for paper- A for Indian Language will be held on September 28 in morning shift and paper-B for English language will be held in the afternoon session. Paper-6 for option paper 1 will be held in the morning shift of September 29 and paper 7 for optional subject paper 2 will be held in the afternoon shift. 

Candidates who passed the UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 and have filled the detailed application forms are eligible to appear for the exam. The UPSC CSE Mains admit card will be released in due course of time. The UPSC aims to fill a total of 1056 vacancies. Prelims exam was held on June 16 and the results were out on July 1. A total of 14, 627 candidates have passed the prelims exam.
