Babil Khan shares glimpse of father Irrfan Khan's prized possessions from his movies

A chair from the set of 'Jurassic World' and a perfume that was personalised for Irrfan Khan for his movie 'The Namesake' were the two items Babil Khan showed.

Babil Khan recently shared a treasure box of memories of his father Irrfan Khan on his Instagram handle In a post, Babil shared a glimpse of the actor's prized possessions from his movie sets. A chair from the set of the Hollywood movie Jurassic World and a perfume that was personalised for the star for his movie The Namesake were two items Babil recently displayed on social media. 

Sharing the photos, he wrote, “Leaving for acting workshop in Mysore. Thought I’d share these things I found at mamma’s farmhouse. 1 and 2. A perfume specially compounded for Ashoke; baba’s character in ‘The namesake’. 3. Actor’s chair for baba while shooting Jurassic World. Party over, back to work, see you guys soon.”

More about Irrfan Khan 

Irrfan Khan died in April 2020. The actor was hospitalised in a Mumbai hospital for a colon infection, while courageously fighting neuroendocrine cancer. The complications led to his death. 

The Hindi Medium actor worked in a number of critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies like 'Salaam Bombay', 'Maqbool', and 'Paan Singh Tomar'. The actor was also part of some international projects like 'The Namesake', 'Life Of Pi' and 'Inferno'. 'Angrezi Medium' was his last Bollywood endeavour.

On the work front, Babil Khan made his acting debut with 'Qala'. The film, directed by Anvitaa Dutt, also featured Swastika Mukherjee and Tripti Dimri in other significant roles. Khan will be next seen in the web series 'The Railway Men'. The series is reportedly based on the Bhopal gas tragedy of 1984.
