Hrithik Roshan is one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood. He made his Bollywood debut with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai starring alongside Amisha Patel in 2000. Since then, the actor has managed to win many hearts and has hugely grown his fan base. Throughout his career, the actor has also bagged many awards including Filmfare and IIFA. While Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai shot him to fame, the star also delivered multiple other hits including Mission Kashmir, Lakshya, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hun, Koi Mil Gaya and many more. Hrithik Roshan’s Emotional Speech from his first Filmfare in 2000

On 21st January 2000, Hrithik Roshan’s father and renowned director, Rakesh Roshan was shot by two Budesh gang members near his office at Santacruz West. The assailants fired two shots at the director. Their intent was not to kill, but the Budesh gang put forth the demand for a share in the international profits of the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.

The time surrounding the attach was a dark time for the Roshan family. And just when Rakesh got a little well, there was the Filmfare awards ceremony in the year 2000. At the ceremony, Hrithik Roshan gave an emotional speech. The actor said that the past few days had been a very difficult time for his family and that they have experienced joy, fear, and sadness all at the same time. The incident with Rakesh Roshan had the entire family shook, but Hrithik said that they will not stop and the show must go on.

Hrithik Roshan recently released his film, War, starring alongside Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. War ruled the theatres and fans went crazy over the film. It managed to break the record of the day 1 collection of  Marvel's Avengers: Endgame in India. The film also recently crossed ₹300 crores at the Box Office.
