Kareena Kapoor opens up on role allure 

In an interview with Hello Magazine, Kareena Kapoor talked about her role in Jaane Jaan. She also opened up on how she chooses the projects she stars in, now that she is a mother. The actress shared that since she has started working after a gap of some years, the projects she chooses have to be ‘super special’.

She added, “I think obviously after working for so many years, there has to be something super special that drags me away from my kids... right now they are my topmost priority.” She also added that after several years of acting, she is now venturing out to do different kinds of films. Kareena asserted, “ I also want to do different kinds of films. It’s no longer about doing a Bollywood blockbuster."

Kareena Kapoor talks about working with actors who are not superstars 

In Jaane Jaan, Kareena Kapoor will share screen space with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. While the actors are well-known and on top of their game, they have not attained ‘superstar’ status in the industry yet. Previously, the actress has worked with bigger stars in movies like Ra One, 3 Idiots and Bodyguard. She labelled her experience of working on Jaane Jaan as ‘intriguing’. She claimed, “It adds freshness to the cast, and especially for someone like me, who has always worked with superstars….this was a much-desired change.”
