PM Narendra Modi biopic: Here's what Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis had to say about the film

The announcement of a biopic on the life of honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi came out recently. Now, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis unveiled the film's first look at a grand event. At this occasion, he also had lots of praise for PM Modi and this project in general.

Speaking about the same, CM Fadnavis said, "I believe that today a new history is beginning through this poster launch. Bharat has, in this century, given birth to a global leader. And under whose supervision, Bharat is reaching not only reaching new heights but every person's hopes, dreams and expectations are also getting fulfilled under his supervision. Such is the Prime Minister of the country honourable Narendrabhai Modiji. On his life, a film is being made, I believe that this very thought is great in and of itself. And for this thought, I would like to congratulate you all very much."

Speaking about the film's team that has been put together, he continued, "And this team that has been made- many times we say deadly combination, but I won't call it deadly, I would call it a winning combination. And it is my faith that a truly inspiring film will be made. We always say that our younger generation needs to be inspired. They have unlimited potential but only when those potentials are inspired, do these potentials get realised. And to get this inspiration, there are some personalities, whose life path can give us just that."

Adding his thoughts on PM Modi's inspirational life, he added, "Modiji's life also has been like that. Coming from poverty, distributing tea, and like a sage going to the Himalayas and doing tapasya (meditation). We always use the word Rajyogi, either there's a Raja or a yogi, but one who is Raja in spite of being a yogi is called Rajyogi. And I believe that Modiji's personality is like that of a Rajyogi. And bringing this Rajyogi in front of the world will be done through this film."

He furthered joked around with Vivek as he said, "Vivek Ji we are very excited, we feel that today the poster was launched, tomorrow the film should launch. But I know how much efforts, how much difficulties you will have to take for this. This is a very serious task that you have to fulfill in a very short time and I believe that the passion with which you are involved in this, you will have God's blessings with you."

The biopic stars Vivek Anand Oberoi as the honourable Prime Minister. This is also the first time that the actor is using his complete name on screen. The project will be directed by Omung Kumar who has helmed acclaimed films like 'Mary Kom', 'Sarabjit' among others.
