'Satellite Shankar': Here is what fans had to say about the trailer

Sooraj Pancholi's next film Satellite Shankar is all set to hit the theatres soon. The trailer of the film was released on October 17, 2019. The film will be Sooraj’s first film after four years. The actor was last seen in his debut film, Hero, in 2015. Satellite Shankar is directed by Irfan Kamal. The film was initially slated to release on October 11, 2019, but the makers have pushed the release of film further ahead. The new date of the release is November 15, 2019.

About the film

The trailer of Satellite Shankar showed Sooraj essaying the role of a happy-go-lucky soldier in the film. The young soldier longs to visit his mother and when he finally gets a few days off from his army duty, Sooraj's character Shankar embarks on a road trip to his home town. Shankar's journey back home forms the crux of the movie's story.

Sooraj Pancholi has reportedly collaborated with about 20 soldiers for a promotional song of Satellite Shankar. Satellite Shankar is reportedly the first movie to be shot across 10 States in India. The first look of Satellite Shankar was revealed by the Dabangg star Salman Khan earlier this year. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of South Indian actor Megha Akash.
