Out of the numerous epithets that Shah Rukh Khan has been bestowed with, the ‘King of Romance’ is one of the popular ones. However, the actor has a hilarious take on some of his famous romantic gestures or dialogues to express that using them on his wife Gauri, or someone trying to woo his daughter Suhana with them, would have disastrous consequences.
In a recent interview, the actor said that the essence of romance is to make one feel it, but he added that in real life he is not such a person. Talking about his famous stretching the arms and singing, SRK quipped that if he did that in front of his wife, she’d probably throw him out of the house.
He also had references to his other popular dialogues like ‘Rahul, naam toh suna hi hoga’ from ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’. The actor revealed he told his daughter Suhana that if someone introduces himself like that, he’s a stalker. He also advised the teenager that if someone says another popular dialogue from the movie, ‘Aur paas, aur paas’, she should 'kick him in the shins.'
Shah Rukh concluded that it’s only when he succeeds in bringing out an element of innocence and make such sequences attractive, that his role gets reinvented.
‘King Khan’s ‘King of Romance’ avatar was recently visible in ‘Zero’, which hit the screens last week. From stretching his arms to delivering loved-up lines, fans got the opportunity to enjoy the trademark SRK moments.
