Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has taken up a new funky hairstyle for his upcoming venture 'Manmarziyaan'. As the new look of the actor has shocked the internet, director Anurag Kashyap took to social media and shared a video revealing how the transformation happened. The director took to Twitter and said that Kaushal's hairstyle for the film is plagiarized from Indian music producer and singer Sukhe. Mumbai based hairstylist Aalim Hakim gave the funky look to the actor. 

"This was at 2 am, 4days before shoot @vickykaushal09 had gone straight to @aalimhakim, who had taken an overnight journey from another part of the world .. and we decided to plagiarise the hairstyle of @SukheMuzical for the plagiarist Vicky aka #DJSANDZZ #Manmarziyaan," said the director in his Twitter post.

Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's directorial 'Sanju' which starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Despite Ranbir's spectacular performance, Vicky managed to be in the limelight for his role as Kamlesh, Sanju's close friend. But his looks from the film have undergone a drastic change for his upcoming venture 'Manmarziyaan'.

Vicky Kaushal made his acting debut in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet'. However, he is widely lauded by the audience and the critics for his recent performances in 'Love Per Square Foot', 'Raazi', 'Lust Stories', and 'Sanju'. In fact, he has also been roped in for Karan Johar's upcoming epic-drama 'Takht'.

Beside Kaushal, Anurag Kashyap's 'Manmarziyaan' also stars Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. The romantic comedy-drama, set in a backdrop of Punjab and is scripted by Kanika Dhillon. The film is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions. The shooting for the film began in February 2018 and the trailer of the film released on August 9. It is scheduled to hit the theaters on September 21.
