From 'Hulkendar Iyer' to 'Hawkbhai', the Avengers: Desi Edition is a hilarious treat for Indian fans, see reactions here

After announcing that the Hollywood venture will release in several Indian languages including- Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu, Marvel Studios treated Indian fans with yet another hilarious surprise as they introduced the 'Avengers: Desi Edition'.

With just days left to the release of Marvel's much-anticipated venture 'Avengers: Endgame', fans around the world are finding it hard to hold their excitement. After announcing that the Hollywood venture will release in several Indian languages including- Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu, Marvel Studios treated Indian fans with yet another hilarious surprise as they introduced the 'Avengers: Desi Edition'. 

Marvel Indian on Thursday, April 18, shared some fan art from its artists' assemble featuring an Indian version of the Marvel superheroes. Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hulk, Captain Marvel, among others are featured in the painting and they look very much like the characters of Indian epics, with dhoti, dupatta and tilak. In fact, slight 'desi tadka' is also added to their names, transformation them from Hulk to 'Hulkendar Iyer' and Hawkeye to 'Hawkbhai'.

Marvel India further stated that in a parallel universe the Avengers Initiative starts in India, calling it "If Avengers: Endgame was made in India shoot". 

Fans can't hold their laughter ever since images surfaced. While they have appreciated the initiative, they have also raised very practical concerns like 'what if they stuck in wires?'

Meanwhile, 'Avengers: Endgame' which is a direct sequel to 'Infinity War' from the last year, is all set to release in India on April 26, 2019. Directed by the Russo Brothers, the film is the 22nd instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The flick brings together all the Marvel superheroes, played by actors including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Evangeline Lilly, Jon Favreau, and Paul Rudd. In fact, Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson who debut in MCU as Captain Marvel recently will also be a part of the film. Meanwhile, actor Josh Brolin will also resume the role of Thanos in the upcoming venture following 'Avengers Infinity War'.
