Marvel President Kevin Feige, the one man whom we know for sure has known and continues to know about the everything that is going on in the Marvel Universe, has been dropping various hints of late about what is to happen in the next year as the series, as we know it, reaches a climax.

Recently, he teased why certain characters died at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and some survived. And now, he's answered about the question that is at the top of the minds of every Avengers and Marvel fan: "When?"

There are three films remaining in the current iteration of the series. The first releases in just a few weeks as Ant-Man and the Wasp rolls into cinemas. However, the Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly-starrer is expected to not be directly a part of the Avengers: Infinity War storyline and may even be, to a large extent, a stand-alone film like 2015's Ant-Man.

However, the same cannot be said of Captain Marvel, which will come out just a few months before Avengers 4. While Captain Marvel is said to be set in the 1990s, it will be significant because the lead character, played by Alison Brie, will be joining up with the Avengers as they set out to avenge half the universe. It is also to be set in space to some extent and will feature, as per Marvel, the strongest superhero we've seen so far.

This leaves two questions from the lead-up to the two films:

When does the Captain Marvel trailer come out?
When do we find out what Avengers 4 is called?

Kevin Feige has addressed both questions while speaking to Collider:

On when we'll know the title of Avengers 4, he said, "That'll be after the Captain Marvel teaser probably, announcing that title. It'll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film."

Avengers 4 is to release just about a year after Infinity War the trailer for which had come out on November 29, 2017 -- five months before the film came out. However, the title for Avengers: Infinity War was known quite a bit before that. So unless we find out the name with the trailer, it's unlikely that we'll have to wait till late November to know what Avengers 4 will be called. And before the name will arrive the first look for Captain Marvel.

All things considered, it appears likely that September-October is when we'll find out the next two crucial pieces of information about how this decade-long blockbuster franchise will end!

Are you prepared for the wait?

Ant-Man and the Wasp releases on July 13, Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019, and Avengers 4 on May 3, 2019.

The title for the Spider-Man sequel has also been let slip.
