Selena Gomez opens up about online 'drama' 

In her interview, Selena Gomez clarified that unfollowing Dua Lipa was purely "accidental". She admitted that she was in the process of cleaning up her Instagram account when the incident happened. her online activity sparked curiosity among fans and friends, leading to inquiries about what had transpired between them. 

She said, "It was an accident! “I was just cleaning up some of my Instagram. Then somebody called me and was like, ‘What happened with Dua?!’”

The singer said that she promptly rectified the situation upon realising her mistake. She re-followed both Dua Lipa and Zendaya, hinting at her intention to maintain "positive relationships" within the industry. This gesture was a clear indication that there were no underlying issues or animosity between the singer and her fellow artists.

At a Rare Beauty event, she wore a dress from Versace and Dua Lipa collaboration, making a fashion statement that hinted that all was well between them. Gomez, later, shared a photo of her Versace look, captioning it, "A little Versace/Dua moment." Dua's comment read, "angeeeeeeeel!!!! 😍😍😍😍."
