After ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ showcased the potential of Telugu cinema across the world, ‘KGF’ did so for Kannada cinema and ‘2.0’ in Tamil cinema in recent times, even Malayalam film industry is coming out with a big budget venture.

Mohanlal is reportedly starring in Mollywood's costliest film ever, titled ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, being directed by his frequent collaborator Priyadarshan. The shooting of the movie has been going on in full swing at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.  

According to reports, the movie features other Malayalam stars like Mukesh, Manju Warrier, Siddique, among others. Suniel Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Sudeep, Keerthy Suresh, Prabhu Deva are some of the others who are reportedly a part of the movie. 

Several pictures from the sets have been going on viral including the recent one when Ajith visited the sets and is seen talking with Priyadarshan.

Even Sudeep was seen on the sets in his costume, confirming that he’s a part of the movie. Pictures of Mohanlal working out and some in his look have also surfaced. Suniel Shetty seemed to be a warrior in the movie if his look is anything to go by.
