All thanks to a wink and a smile, Priya Prakash Varrier became a national sensation overnight. Making her debut with the Malayalam film 'Oru Adaar Love', the young actress was soon dubbed as the National crush.

Priya made her debut made her debut in ‘Oru Adaar Love’ that is directed by Omar Lulu and is scheduled to release on March 3. Along with being an actress and model, the 18-year-old is a first-year B.Com student at Vimala College in Thrissur.

She is also set to make her Bollywood debut with 'Sridevi Bungalow', but it has been dragged into controversy after the teaser of the film released recently. The husband of the late actress Sridevi, filmmaker Boney Kapoor has also sent a legal notice to the makers of the film for depicting scenes that implied parallels between the character and the demise of the veteran actress.
