BookMyShow Crashes As Coldplay India Concert Tickets Go On Sale, Fans Wait In Digital Queues

BookMyShow Crashes: Before the Coldplay India concert tickets went live, the app crashed and left fans lurking. However, the ticketing app was back soon.

BookMyShow Crashes: British boy band Coldplay is all set to perform in India on January 18-19. As soon as the tickets for the gig went live, the ticketing app, BookMyShow faced a country-wide outage for all users. Social media users shared screenshots of their frozen screens as they tried to book the tickets. However, minutes after the crash, the ticketing app was back up resulting in many acquiring their seats.

The Coldplay India concert tickets were scheduled to go live on BookMyShow on September 22 at noon. Fans of the band waited in long digital queues to get their hands on the tickets. However, several users complained that the app signed them out while they were trying to book the tickets.

It was also noted by some that the tickets were not made available until 12:30 pm. Fans of Coldplay took to social media to share their experience of booking their tickets while slamming the portal for poor handling. However, if you have missed your chance to book Coldplay tickets today, another round of the same will go on sale on November 22, 2024, allowing fans to purchase them in pairs and enjoy the concert experience together.

Upset Coldplay fans slam BookMyShow after outage 

As soon as the ticketing app crashed, social media users took to their account to call out the platform for mismanagement. A user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) “#coldplay Mumbai concert queue is much much longer than any IPO stat.” Another mentioned, "It’s 12:23 and still shows “Coming Soon”@bookmyshow you weren’t prepared.  Relax guyss. It’s not sold out as yet"." Another mentioned the app CEO and wrote, "@deepigoyal
pls throw @bookmyshow trash out of business. For country’s sake!"
