Abhishek Bachchan Calls Aishwarya Rai 'Amazing Emotional Support' In Throwback Video

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been in the news owing to the divorce rumours. While the couple is yet to react to the speculation, a new throwback video is making netizens nostalgic. The said video is from the promotional diaries of Abhishek’s Dasvi. In the video, he can be heard praising Aishwarya for being his support system and calls himself lucky to have her as a life partner.

In an old interview video with Bollywood Hungama, Abhishek called Aishwarya “exceptional” and added the actress has always been an “amazing” emotional support for him. “I’ve been very lucky, my entire family has been. The wonderful thing about having a life partner like Aishwarya is that she is from the business. She gets it. She has been doing it slightly longer than I have. So, she knows the world. She has been through it all. So, it’s nice when you come home and if you’ve had a challenging day, you know that there’s somebody who gets it,” he continued.

Abhishek further mentioned how Aishwarya “managed to traverse some of the most difficult times of her life with utmost dignity and grace”. He concluded by saying, “I really admire that about her. Actors are emotional people, we’re very, very hyper-sensitive and there are times when we might just want to lash out and we kind of explode. You can only take so much. I’ve never seen her do that”.

A documentary titled Valley of Gods, Jamnagar premiered on JioCinema recently. It offers a glimpse into the 3-day gala event in Jamnagar in March. The couple, along with their daughter Aaradhya, can be seen sitting on a sofa enjoying the performances.
