Akshay Kumar is all set to feature in the third instalment of the comedy film Welcome. The actor shared a BTS video from the film’s shoot as the shooting commenced. He shared the video calling the process ‘absolute madness’.
Akshay Kumar shares BTS from Welcome to the Jungle
On December 13, Akshay Kumar took to his social media account to share a BTS video from the shoot of Welcome to the Jungle. The video shows the cast and crew of the film undertaking some adventure activity. In the video, Lara Dutta can be seen holding a hunter in her hand and commanding Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi to move.
In the same video, Akshay can be seen losing his balance and falling from the ladder. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor shared the video with the caption, “Absolute madness of masti begins as we start the shoot of #WelcomeToTheJungle. Will need your wishes for this rollercoaster full of all things fun and crazy :) #Welcome3.”
What more do we know about Welcome 3?
Welcome To The Jungle is the title of the third instalment of the Welcome franchise and will reportedly be released in Christmas 2024. Released in 2007, Welcome starred Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.

The second instalment was titled Welcome Back which was released in the year 2015 and featured John Abraham and Shruti Haasan. According to reports, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty will be seen as the lead cast of the third instalment. Reportedly Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be in the film. Along with Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, Welcome 3 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma. Among the actresses, it will star Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Vrihi Kodvara. The film will hit the big screens on December 20.
