Akshay Oberoi on bonding with Hrithik Roshan on Fighter set: Given me a fresh perspective

Akshay Oberoi will be playing the role of Squadron Leader Basheer Khan in Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone starrer film Fighter. The film is all set to hit theatres on January 25, 2024.Speaking about his experience, Akshay has revealed that the movie gave him an opportunity to bond with Hrithik.

While acknowledging the transformative impact of working with Hrithik, Akshay said, “Although a fitness enthusiast from a young age, collaborating with Hrithik on Fighter has given me a fresh perspective on maintaining fitness and a healthy body.” He further added, “Hrithik is a true fitness icon in Bollywood, and working on the same project has brought two fitness aficionados together. His dedication and passion for fitness are truly inspirational.”

Known as 'Bash’, Akshay’s character is a skilled weapon system operator within the Air Dragons unit. His rendition infuses the narrative with a vibrant energy, adding layers of dynamism. Taking to his social media, the actor shared his look of Squadron Leader Basheer Khan from Fighter and wrote, "Squadron Leader Basheer Khan Call Sign: Bash. Designation: Weapon System Operator. Hrithik shared the look of his character and revealed that he will be playing Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty in the film. Sharing his character poster, he wrote, "PSquadron Leader Shamsher Pathania. Call Sign: Patty. Designation: Squadron Pilot. Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever."
