Ammy Virk Pens Heartfelt Note For Vicky Kaushal, Says 'Couldn’t Have Asked For A Better…'

Ammy Virk is one of the known names in the Punjabi cinema for his soulful tracks and hit performances in the movies. However, now he is spreading his wings in Bollywood not just as a singer but also as an actor. He made his debut in the Hindi cinema with Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India and is currently making people laugh with his recent and third release Bad Newz. The actor is being praised for his performance as Gurbir Pannu.

On receiving such a positive response, the actor has penned a heartfelt note for his co-star Vicky Kaushal opening up about his experience working with him.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Ammy shared a series of photos posing in style with Vicky and expressed how he had an absolute blast working with the Sanju actor. He started his note by writing, “From rehearsals to red carpets, it’s been a blast with my brother Vicky Kaushal. Lights, camera, and bromance. Couldn’t have asked for better.” He further mentioned, “Just two Punjabi Munde planning to take over the world! Sharing the screen was an absolute pleasure. Talent ta hai hi, par dil vi bahut vadda veer da. Thank you for the experience, bhaji.”

Soon after he dropped the post, Vicky re-shared it on his Instagram stories and wrote, "Love you Phaaji! Baba sukh rakhe."

Recently, Ammy, who predominantly works in the Punjabi industry, shared that his own car was used during an action sequence in the film. Appearing on the show Bombay Journey with Vicky, he explained, “They needed a car to shoot a sequence in the film. They wanted to shoot an action sequence in Mussoorie. The unit wasn’t able to find an SUV at a reasonable rate." Ammy added: “I asked them to take my car. The action team of the film looked at me and said, ‘Are you sure we could take it’.” The actor then told them in jest: “You will only drive it, and not roll down the mountain, right?” At this point, Vicky and the show host, Siddharth Alambayan, were in splits.

Bad Newz box office collection day 2

Also starring Triptii Dimri, the movie had a good start at the box office by earning ₹8.62 crore on Friday. On Saturday, the movie witnessed 22.39 per cent growth and went on to mint ₹10.55 crore. Adding the two-day collection, the total stands at ₹19.17 crore. The movie has become the biggest opener of Vicky’s career, surpassing his earlier film Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Meanwhile, Ammy will next be seen in his fourth Bollywood movie, Khel Khel Mein, starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu. The film is set to hit the theatres on August 15.
