Anil Arora Death: On September 11, Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora breathed his last. As per media reports, he fell to his death from a three-storey building in Mumbai. Videos from the site of the incident are now viral on social media.

Mumbai Police begins investigation on Anil Arora's death case 

Given the unnatural death of Malaika Arora's father, a police investigation has begun. Visuals from outside the residence show the police personnel vehicle parked outside the building. As per paparazzi member Viral Bhayani, they have started an investigation into the cause of his death. 
 

A team of Bandra police rushed to the spot and shifted him to a hospital, where he was declared dead before arrival, he said. The exact reason behind the incident was not yet known, the official said, adding an investigation was underway. Police conducted 'panchnama' (inspection) of the spot and have started collecting evidence, he said. The postmortem process was underway at a hospital, the police said. After getting information about the incident, Malaika Arora's former husband Arbaaz Khan visited the building. Meanwhile, a source told PTI, "It's true that Malaika's father passed away this morning. He has not committed suicide, it's an accident. They all are shocked because he had no ailment or anything as such." "We will be sending you the police panchnama when we receive it. That will be the accurate information for this unfortunate incident," the source said.
 

Who was Anil Arora?

Anil Arora was a Punjabi Hindu from the Indian border town of Fazilka. He also worked in the Indian Merchant Navy. He was married to Joyce Polycarp, who is a Malayali Christian. The former couple have two children Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora. Anil Arora got divorced from Joyce when Malaika was only 11 years old while her younger sister Amrita Arora was 6.
