Animal director confirms Upendra Limaye aka Freddy will be back in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal Park

Animal has emerged as a huge success at the box office. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer created history by becoming the fastest Hindi film to have minted Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. Amid the commercial success of the film, there has been chatter about the cast of Animal Park. In a new video now going viral, Sandeep Reddy Vanga can be heard confirming that Upendra Limaye’s character in the movie Freddy will be back in the sequel. 

Freddy confirmed to feature in Animal Park 

A video now going viral on social media platforms shows Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in conversation with Upendra Limaye. In the video, the actor can be seen thanking the director after attending success and recognition for Animal. For the unversed, Upendra played the role of an arms dealer Freddy in the film headlined by Ranbir Kapoor. 

In the clip, Upendra can be heard telling Sandeep Vanga that several people have been calling him after the release of Animal, appreciating him for his performance. The director then confirmed his role in the film’s sequence by saying several ‘exciting’ things are waiting for Freddy in the upcoming movie. Following this, Upendra can be seen getting excited and thanking Sandeep. 

What Upendra said about his character’s return in Animal Park 

Recently in a conversation with Pinkvilla, Upendra shared his excitement on the return of his character in the sequel of the Ranbir Kapoor film. He shared, “I have no idea. Sir abhi bol rahe the, toh it’s a pleasant surprise toh bohut maza aayega. Abhi kya hai na ki one of the finest, one of the most interesting directors I have worked with. Toh whether it is one sequence, one scene, kuch bhi ho wo karne mein maza aayega. Dekho abhi teen din ka kaam hai, I’m receiving feedback like anything, never before like from all over the globe toh it is always fun working with such interesting director. (Sir was talking about it just now, so it's a pleasant surprise, and it will be a lot of fun. Currently, the thing is, he is one of the finest, one of the most interesting directors I have worked with. So whether it is one sequence, one scene, whatever it is, it will be enjoyable to do. Look, it's just three days of work, and I'm receiving feedback like anything, unlike ever before, from all over the globe. So it is always fun working with such an interesting director.).”
