Animal director reacts to Ranbir Kapoor's 'chocolate boy' image, says 'he is fully alpha'

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, the upcoming film, is all set to release on December 1. The star cast along with the director is busy promoting the film. Today, on November 27, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and others attended an event in Hyderabad.

Several videos from the event are doing the rounds on the internet. In one such video, the director was asked about Ranbir Kapoor’s chocolate boy image onscreen. To this, he responded that (Ranbir) might have a soft image onscreen, but “Chocolate Boy” is just a tag for jim. "He is fully alpha,” Sandeep said. 

Ranbir dances to Badtameez Dil with Bobby Deol

During the music launch of Animal in Mumbai, Ranbir and Bobby were seen doing the hookstep of Batameez Dil. As soon as the track stopped, Ranbir is heard saying, "Main aap logon ko ek baat bata du yeh gana 2013 mein release hua tha. Par main jahan bhi jata hu yeh gana mere peeche ata hai. Main abhi 41 years ka hu, mere se nai hota hai abhi yeh sab. Mere back tut jaati hai.”

“Main sab event managers se aaj yeh keh raha hu please yeh gana mat bajwana. Koi slow gana bajwana."

Later, Ranbir was seen trying to do the hookstep of the song Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela from the 1997 film Gupt: The Hidden Truth starring Bobby, Kajol and Manisha Koirala.

About Animal trailer and star cast

The Animal trailer is largely centred on the father-son relationship. In the trailer, Ranbir is looking raw and intense. His character is highly in awe of and obsessed with his father, and he is seen trying to please him in every way. The trailer is a violent, bloody, as well as an emotional story. The child of a rich man, Ranbir’s character has a relationship with his father which is carved in blood and shaped by this darkness, he embraces his bloodlust and becomes a psychotic bloodthirsty killer.

Animal features Rashmika Mandanna, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor It is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. On Thursday the makers launched the trailer of the action thriller in New Delhi.
