Anupam Kher Reveals He Misses Having Child Of His Own With Kirron Kher: Started To Feel The Void...
Anupam Kher who is married to Kirron Kher in 1985 opened up about the void of not able to have biological child of his own. He has a step son Sikandar.
Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has been entertaining the audience for decades. The actor has amazed his audience with his acting skills. Anupam Kher boasts a rich filmography with more than 500 national and international movie in several languages. In a recent interview, Anupam Kher spilled the beans on his personal relationship where he said how he misses having his own kid.
Anupam Kher on not having a child of his own
In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, when Anupam Kher was asked if he ever missed having a child of his own, he replied very quickly. He said, “I didn’t feel it that much before, but now sometimes I do feel like it. I think in the last seven-eight years. Its not like, I am not happy with Sikander, but I think its a joy to see a child growing up. Its a joy to see bonding and this is an honest answer to you. I could have avoided to answer this, but I don’t want to do that. But, it’s okay. It’s not a tragedy in my life. But, I sometimes feel it would have been a nice thing.”
He further said, “All this while I was extremely busy working, but after I hit 50-55, I started to feel the void. It was mostly because Kirron became busy, and so did Sikander. I work with kids in my organisation: The Anupam Kher Foundation. We do a lot of work with children, and sometimes when I see my friends’ children and things like that… (I miss having children) but, it’s not a sense of loss.”
According to a report of Lehren, Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher did attempt to have a child together, but were unsuccessful, despite seeking medical assistance. For the unversed, Anupam Kher was earlier married to Gautam Berry.
What’s next for Anupam Kher?
On the work front, the actor will be next seen in the Kangana Ranaut directorial Emergency, which is based on the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
The film has run into controversies over its censor certificate, and its release has been pushed many times.
