Ayesha Takia Deactivates Instagram After Massive Trolling Over Her Alleged Plastic Surgery
Ayesha Takia's recent Instagram post triggered the former actress to deactivate her social media account seemingly to stay away from negativity.
Ayesha Takia has been on the receiving end owing to her recent post where netizens called her "unrecognisable" and trolled her for allegedly undergoing plastic surgery. Owing to massive trolling, the former actress has now deactivated her Instagram account.
What triggered Ayesha Takia to deactivate her social media account?
A few days ago, Ayesha had dropped a reel featuring her in a blue and golden saree with pink-toned makeup. She sported bangs and left her hair open. Soon after she uploaded the video on Instagram, netizens flooded the comment section questioning her look. A fan wrote, "Why you destroyed your face and natural beauty?" Another wrote, "Arre ye kya karke rakhe ho..." The third user wrote, "Can't find that cute girl anymore .. anyway.. God bless and keep smiling." A user wrote, "I know she had done plastic surgery & had also seen her after surgery. But this post of her just randomly popped up on my Instagram discover feed & I couldn’t even recognise her.”
This is not the first time, Ayesha drew flak for her looks on social media.
When Ayesha Takia shut the trolls over her alleged plastic surgery
Earlier this year, Ayesha was snapped at Mumbai airport leaving with her son to Goa. As her photos and videos went viral, netizens started slamming her over alleged plastic surgery. Upon receiving hatred over her appearance, the actress took a stand for herself on social media and said that she had no interest in any fame. She requested those dropping hating comments may "feel free to not care" about her. She started off her note revealing the purpose of her appearance at Mumbai airport - she was on her way to Goa for a medical emergency in her family. "My sister has literally been in hospital. Amidst all this, I remember being stopped by paps and posing for them for basically a few seconds before flying off. Turns out there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks.”
She continued, “Expecting a girl who's mostly been seen in her teens to look identical even after 15 years...How unrealistic and ridiculous are these ppl...Lol please find better things to do with ur time rather than pick apart good looking women, I'm blessed with a fabulous life and do not need ur opinions, save it for those interested."
Meanwhile, Ayesha began her career in the entertainment industry as a model and gained fame with Falguni Pathak’s iconic song Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye. She was last seen in the 2011 film Mod after which she took retirement from her acting career.
