Chhaava: Looks like second half of 2024 is going to be a treat for movie buffs. After back-to-back release of Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, the teaser of Chhaava was officially unveiled. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.

All About Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film Chhaava

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder and the great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, as Yesubai Bhonsale, wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film will primarily focus on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s sacrifice, and his strategies for warfare, it will also explore a love angle between Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. Akshaye Khanna essays the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.

Vicky Kaushal shares important details about Chhaava

In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor opened up about his next film and said that it's a period drama but they are making it "very seriously".  It will be high on emotions, actions and drama. He said, "It's a period drama but we are making it very seriously and there is a lot of action in it; Lot of drama in it; Very high on emotions and it really is a spectacular story."

When asked about whether he had ever considered becoming an action hero, to this, he said that he "enjoys doing action a lot". He added, "Like I crave that I get more opportunities to do action. In Uri I got that opportunity and I really enjoyed myself". He then assured the audience that his next film Chhaava would be "leaded with action”.
