Deepak Tijori has made an explosive revelation in one of his recent interviews. The director and actor has alleged that Mohit Suri's debut film, Zeher, was actually his brain child - one that Suri allegedly stole from him. Tijori also revealed how he wanted to discuss this with Suri's now wife, Udita Goswami, but refrained from the same.

Deepak Tijori says Zeher was his brain child

In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Deepak Tijori detailed how he wanted to make a Bollywood version of 2003 thriller Out of Time. A pitch to Mahesh Bhatt however led him nowhere. Tijori is now alleging that a comment made in passing to Mohit Suri, who was present in the same space at the time of the pitch, became the inspiration behind, Zeher, the film that launched Suri's career.

He said, "I wanted to work with Mahesh Bhatt. I went to narrate the film to him...He heard me for like 15-20 minutes and then he said, ‘I did not enjoy it. Forget it.’...As I went out, I saw Mohit Suri and K.D. waiting outside. Mohit was a kid, he hadn't started his career at that time...I told Mohit, ‘Just tell Bhatt saab to listen to me once! You go and see that film Out of Time and show it to him anyhow!'"

Deepak Tijori refrained from discussing the issue with Udita Goswami

Deepak Tijori further shared how Mohit Suri, since the time of the incident, has not once come in front of him. Tijori further shared how he thought of revealing the course of events to Udita Goswami, wife to Mohit Suri, with whom he professionally collaborated on in 2009 film Fox, but refrained from the same. 

He said, "It was my idea…If he had just told me what he did. What difference would it have made? I was working with Udita in Fox, so many times I wanted to tell her. But eventually, they got married and they are happy. I am happy for them."
