Late Dilip Kumar’s younger sister Saeeda Khan died on September 24 after a prolonged illness, according to reports. She took her last breath at her bungalow in Mehboob Studio, Bandra in Mumbai. Saeeda’s family paid homage to her on Monday and a condolence meeting took place in Mehboob Studio on Tuesday, September 26.

Dilip Kumar had five brothers - Nasir Khan, Aslam Khan, Ehsaan Khan, Noor Mohammed and Ayub Sarwar and six sisters - Fauzia Khan, Sakina Khan, Taj Khan, Farida Khan, Saeeda Khan and Akhtar Asif. Saeeda was late Iqbal Khan's wife. Iqbal was Mehboob Studio's founder and a renowned film producer.
Saeeda is survived by her two children
Before her death, Saeeda was being taken care of by her two children, Ilham and Saqib. Both of them are a part of the film industry. While Ilham is a writer, Saqib is a producer. Saqib is also a trustee of the Mehboob Studios at Bandra, which was founded by his father in 1954.

Dilip Kumar died aged 98 at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on July 7, 2021. In addition to testicular cancer and pleural effusion, he had been dealing with a number of age-related problems. He is survived by his wife Saira Banu.
Kumar, who was born Muhammad Yusuf Khan in Peshawar, Pakistan, made his acting debut in the 1944 movie Jwar Bhata. In a career that lasted almost six decades, the actor became popular for his method acting, flawless line delivery and audience-pleasing super hit tunes.
