Don 3: Sobhita Dhulipala Bags Role In Ranveer-Kiara Starrer In 1st Major Film After Engagement?

Sobhita In Don 3: The actress has recently made headlines for getting engaged to Telugu star Naga Chaitanya. Best known for her role as Tara, Sobhita Dhulipala is reported to feature in the Ranveer Singh starrer.

Sobhita Dhulipala to have a special appearance in Don 3? 

Don 3 is one of the most anticipated movies. The film is directed by Farhan Akhtar and features Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The movie also features Kiara Advani as the female lead. A report by Zee News suggests that Sobhita Dhulipala has also been approached for a special cameo in the movie. 

As per the report, “Sobhita, who has left the audience impressed with her versatility, is now planning to do something that she has not done before and it looks like Don 3 is the answer for her. Going by her oomph and persona she will play the perfect attraction in the film." The insider in the know also added that she has been approached for an item song. The source added, “We have learned Farhan Akhtar has approached Sobhita to do an item song in the film as he is very much convinced she will ace it like no other actress.” The source further added, “The talks are on and we haven't learned about the conclusion, but Sobhita has had a few meetings with Farhan and the team.”

Why did Farhan Akhtar choose Ranveer Singh for Don 3?

During a recent podcast, Farahn was asked why he hadn't thought of a trilogy with some other actor. To this, Farhan said that the script of Don 3 required a "next-generation actor" and this is the reason why he picked Ranveer as he is a "charming," "mischievous," and "energetic" person. He further elaborated that the Simmba actor hasn't performed a role like he will be portraying in the third instalment of Don and is still "untapped" in a certain aspect.

"Don requires a very different performance from him. There is a certain holding inside him (Ranveer) that is needed, which I don't think he has done. So I think it is a nice challenge for him to be able to do it," Farhan added.
