Vijay Sethupathi shines in Merry Christmas trailer

The Merry Christmas trailer was unveiled on December 21. The trailer begins with the premise of two people in Mumbai meeting on the eve of Christmas Eve, instantly hitting it off. However, just when things begin to feel too rosy and hunky-dory, the trailer introduces a new character who seems to have some connection with the female protagonist’s past.

From that point onwards, the trailer takes on a grandiose, overwhelming shape, underlined by a spooky-sound version of the otherwise cheery ‘Wish you a Merry Christmas’ song. The trailer doesn’t give much way and yet builds enough tension and intrigue around the identity of its past.
