Despite a controversial plot, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s recently released film Animal was largely applauded for its brilliant casting. Good or evil, almost all the actors lived up to people’s expectations. Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol were among the same who left the audiences stunned with their brilliance.

Trivia about Animal’s climax

One of the movie's iconic scenes is when Ranbir and Bobby lock horns against each other in Animal’s climax. Actor Kamaljeet Rana who played one of the cousins revealed how the duo shot the iconic sequence during the chilling weather of London where other people were simply shivering.

Talking about the same, Kamaljeet told Pinkvilla, “You know about London’s weather. It was so windy and cold. But we never saw Bobby or Ranbir say, ‘It is very cold, let’s wait for the temperature to change a bit. Whenever the director said he was ready, they were ready, they removed their shirts. Imagine the number of cigarettes they had to smoke because there were multiple takes.”

Kamaljeet reveals how others were shivering but Ranbir and Bobby were dedicated

He added, “The scene was shot for five days, and the deep dedication that they showed..hats off. It was not easy..it was a hand-to-hand fight, they had to lie down also at some moments, and there were no mats.” Another actor Gagandeep Singh added, “We could not just stand in that chilly weather even after wearing warmers and suits. We were shivering and they were bare-chested. Hats off to their dedication.”

Other than Ranbir and Bobby, Animal also featured an ensemble cast of Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor among others. On the box office front, Animal has so far earned over Rs 517 crore domestically and Rs 843 crore at the global box office. A sequel to the movie titled ‘Animal Park’ has already been announced.
