Farah Khan Remembers Mother Menaka Irani In A Heartfelt Post, Says 'I Don’t Want Time To Heal'

Farah Khan's mother Menaka Irani died on July 26 due to an age-related illness. Days later, the filmmaker, shared a heartfelt post on her social media handle remembering her mother. She has shared major throwback photos of her mother and said that she doesn't want time to heal this lump.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Menka shared a series of photos and penned a long note expressing her love. She started her note by calling her mother a "very unique" person and continued, "Never wanted the limelight or any fuss around her.. despite the hard knocks she faced in her early life she was a rare one who had no bitterness or envy towards anyone."

She added that everyone who met her loved her and realised where Farah and Sajid Khan get their sense of humour. "Well hardly.. she was far wittier n funny than both sajid n i put together. I don’t know if she can see the outpouring of genuine love n condolences that have come for her .. not only frm our friends n of course family but so many of her colleagues n people who worked in our house came saying how my mom had helped them with loans or sending them money.. never expecting it back," she continued.

In her long note, she thanked the doctors and nurses at Nanavati Hospital who tried their best every day. However, she doesn't need time to heal the void in her heart. She doesn't want to miss her as she will always stay in her heart.

Sajid Khan remembers his mother

On Sunday, Sajid Khan, younger brother of Farah, shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram handle remembering his mother. He shared a photo from his childhood and captioned it as, “Still can't believe you are gone...luv u forever mummy.." 

For the unversed, Menaka Irani was the sister of veteran actresses Daisy Irani and Honey Irani.
