Much-adored actor Govinda made his Bollywood debut in the year 1985. In his various projects, the actor-dancer has delivered many chartbusters opposite actors like Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, and Rani Mukherjee among others. Here are a few of his hit songs.

Tum To Dhokebaaz Ho 

Tum To Dhokebaaz Ho song from Saajan Chale Sasural sums up the story of the film directed by David Dhawan. In the film, Govinda gets married twice accidentally and hides this truth from his wives. The song was composed by Nadeem Shravan and penned by Sameer in the voice of Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.

Tu Mera Hero No.1

A remake of Hrishida’s 1972 classic Bawarchi, Hero No.1 further made Govinda a successful commercial actor. This song sung by Udit Narayan and Poornima was titled Sona Kitna Sona Hai. Fans of Govinda cheered the chemistry between Chi-Chi and Lo-Lo.

Maine Paidal Se Jaa Raha Tha 

This is another chartbuster delivered by Govinda from his film Hero No. 1 released in 1998. The song features Govinda and Karisma and was composed by Anand-Milind. Singers Poornima and Vinod Rathod vocalised the song.

I Love You Bol Daal

The Hero No. 1 duo was again paired for David Dhawan's comedy flick, Haseena Maan Jayegi. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Kader Khan and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles among others. The song became a hit and was vocalised by Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Anu Malik, Sudesh Bhosale, and Alka Yagnik. 

Akhiyon Se Goli Maare 

Dulhe Raja was a comedy-drama directed by Harmesh Malhotra. The pair of Govinda and Raveena Tandon was well-received by the audience. Akhiyon Se Goli Maare song was vocalised by Sonu Nigam and Jaspinder Narula became popular for its lyrics.

Chalo Ishq Ladaaye

Though none of Rani Mukerji and Govinda's film collected big figures at the box office, their chemistry was always praised by their fans. The Aziz Sejawal directorial's song, Chalo Ishq Ladaaye was sung by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik. The song picturised on the duo hit the list of party chartbusters.
