Fukrey Fame Varun Sharma Details Suffering From Severe Injury While Shooting For A Reality Show

Varun Sharma is best known for the film Fukrey. The Bollywood actor is loved by netizens for his perfect comedy timing and brilliant acting skills. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about suffering from serious injuries while participating in reality shows. 

Why did Haarsh Limbachiyaa keep on apologising Varun Sharma?

Before appearing in a podcast with the couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, the actor had collaborated with the duo in the show Khatra Khatra Khatra. He revealed during the show, he suffered a serious injury, which led to a tear in the ligament in his left knee.

In the podcast, Haarsh Limbachiyaa apologised to Varun Sharma for what happened during the show. The actor then narrated how he was supposed to fall on a mattress, but the mattress shifted and he heard a crack in his knee.

Harsh Limbachiyaa then said the show ended 5 years ago. Varun further said, "Maine 5 saal se knee fold hi nahi kari hai." Varun even shared how he has not sat in Vajrasan since 5 years after his injury. Haarsh added that he met Varun in his building and that's when he learnt about his injury.

Varun Sharma made his Bollywood debut with Fukrey and also emerged as a commercial success. He is fondly known by his fans Choocha, the role he played in the franchise. His other notable works include Raabta, FryDay, Chhichhore, Jai Mummy Di and Arjun Patiala among others.

He was recently seen in Wild Wild Punjab. The film follows the story of Khanne, who gets upset after his break-up, but he has friends who encourage him to face this break-up head-on and move on. Directed by Simarpreet Singh, the film also stars Ishita Raj Sharma, Patralekhaa, Manjot Singh and Sunny Singh among others. The film premiered on Netflix on July 10.
